Flow Gallery Omega – A Solo Show by Greg Kent

In his first solo show at Flow Gallery, Greg Kent presents his ‘lace’ oak sculptures, which capture the dichotomy of nature’s fragility and strength. His unique technique for turning and sandblasting oak reveals the organic patterns of the oak’s growth.

Greg exhibited as part of Future Heritage at Chelsea Harbourside in October 2003.

The world’s premier design centre is a champion of design talent gaave a greater focus to the well-established Future Heritage, the forward-looking showcase of established and emerging makers curated by the influential design journalist and curator Corinne Julius.

Greg was invited to exhibit at the ‘Master’s Exhibition'. Through the theme, ‘Coronation’, it showcased the finest elite woodturning in the UK. The event took place on the 18th and 19th October at Pewterers’ Hall, Oak Lane, London EC2V 7DE

Twenty buildings and fourteen furniture projects were shortlisted for this year’s Wood Awards – which celebrate excellence and innovation in timber architecture and design.
